The best design installations of 2015

Dezeen has put together a list of the best installations of 2015, taking in some striking and ambitious sculptures.

Our favourites from the list include:

Heartbeat by Charles Pétillon

A stunning installation in Covent Garden, Heartbeat consisted of 100,000 glowing white balloons covering the ceiling of the Market Building – an incredible contrast to the 19th Century architecture.

The Brutalist Playground by Assemble

The Turner Prize-winning collective recreated the concrete playgrounds of post-war Britain inside RIBA, providing an immersive experience – made of foam.

Endgrain by Raw Edges

Raw Edge’s delicate installation created the illusion of furniture growing from the floors of Chatsworth House, using coloured dyes to create geometric patterns.

See the other installations here and let us know which one is your favourite.
