Club Tropicana reinvented for British Airways social campaign

British Airways and a student group have teamed up for a campaign.
The flight operator has released a new social campaign which features Oxford University a capella group ‘Out of the Blue’ singing ‘Club Tropicana’.

The purpose of this action is to de-stress Brits during the whole process of booking their summer holidays, showing the boys dancing next to a pool and taking care of their tans.

Managing Director of British Airways Holidays, Claire Bentley, explains: “We thought we’d lighten the mood with a little humour to remind holidaymakers we can take care of everything for them. The boys are right when they sing ‘fun and sunshine, there’s enough for everyone’.”

The video has also been showcased on British Airways’ on-board entertainment system since the 16th of January.

Have a look at it below and tell us what you think about it.
