Australian ‘Zootel’ brings wildlife to hotel guests

Australian ZootelA hotel in Australia offers its visitors an unusual visit – by allowing them to spend a night with the animals.

Situated in the National Zoo & Aquarium Canberra, the recently opened Jamala Wildlife Lodge consists of ‘Jungle Bungalows’ separated from lions, cheetahs or bears by just a glass wall.

Not only can guests observe animals from their beds but they are also able to feed the giraffes from their balconies.

Room prices start from $AU400 (£200) and there are seven further suites available in the owner’s former residence.
