The latest in interactive street signs

With the dawn of mobile technology street signs may only seem to be of use to foreign visitors. Breakfast, a New York based digital agency, wants to bring back the usefulness of them with Points.
This sign not only moves to change what it is pointing at, but works via social networks to point people to popular locations, places with high ratings, as well as train stations and places of interest. It works by taking information from RSS feeds, Twitter hashtags and Foursquare check-ins. It also has a menu so users can look for specific types of places, including events.
Whilst there is currently only one in the world, which is situated in the Breakfast office, they have received requests from hotels and sporting events and conferences.
